Atlanta Fresco

On Saturday evening I flew to Ohio to visit my daughter, Cindy. The scene below revealed itself as the plane left Atlanta. I cooked the image in Photoshop with a Fresco filter. Tastes good to me.

Friend Kristy made us a lunch; whole grain bread, mayonaise, big ugly tomatoes, chives and cheddar cheese. Broiled, of course.
Delicious textures, delicious taste.

Cindy bought red and orange peppers at ten for a dollar. I trimmed them for a stuffed pepper birthday dinner and found this little bird inside a red pepper.

Next week I will revisit Sarasota's public sculptures.

Yesterday's Favorite Kodak Moments

Yes, we love every sweet red pepper that crosses our chopping block. Even this one with the green hump backed stem. Tasty morsels after roasting. Leave a comment (below) and I will divulge my roasting recipe.

My second favorite shot from yesterday, made with my trusty inexpensive Kodak digital camera, is a record of the sunset at Kim Ross' 50th birthday party on Longboat Key.

Sweet Red Pepper & Florida Onion

Two of the reasons we hustle downtown to Sarasota's farmers' market every Saturday morning.

I roast red and orange peppers and sweet Florida onions with garlic and shallot in lots of olive oil until the onion has carmalized. Then use the veggies to sweeten and spice our daily dinners.
