Rhubarb

Every once in awhile
you have to stop what you're doing


and bask in the beauty


 of rhubarb on its way
to the pie.

Perhaps on the same day I also opted for fresh rhubarb as a side dish. Delicious! I hope everything goes well Gerry!

They don't grow rhubarb in Florida. When I was a kid, everyone used to grow it in little gardens on the alley side of their garages. Now we have to wait for limited distribution from the northern states. These limitations make the rhubarb taste better because it is salted with anticipation.
